Savage Sunglasses Frames are made from 90% cotton giving a stronger but softer feel when worn. The majority of our frames have reinforced arms for added strength and alot of our frames are Rx-Able, that is they can take an optical lens.

Savage Sunglasses Lenses are acrylic because they provide the best balance of optical performance and strength. They have high transmissivity ratings & show very little hazing thus giving excellent clarity of vision. All lenses offer 400UV protection and comply to the highest standards for UVA and UVB protection (AS/NZS 1068:2003).

Savage Sunglasses Polarised Lenses are manufactured with a superior 1.1mm Tri-Acetate Cellulose (TAC) and a layer of Poly Vinyl Acetate (PVA) which makes them heat, fade and moisture resistant and very hard wearing. They give clear, disortion free vision under all sunlight conditions. TAC lenses are infused with polarising filters that permeate the layers thus eliminating the de-lamination issues commonly associated with cheap polarised lenses & are less susceptible to shrinkage. The lenses increase visual acuity whilst enhancing visual performance which improves contrast and sharpness in your vision.
